Wagstaffe & Pretty Beach Cycling Track

This cycle path takes you from Mulhull St Wharf to Wagstaffe by ferry. This ride follows a road for a distance of 41 kilometres. This road is for adventurers who are looking for the best facilities on the Central Coast and want to distinguish it from the usual paths surrounded by the wonders of nature.

10B Cycling Trail Dharawal National Park Gosford

The road track starts at Gosford station with the Winder Path as the starting point. This 10B bike trail begins at Appin Road at the entrance to Dharawal National Park and takes you through unpaved roads, forests and open forests.

The Entrance - North Entrance To Toukley / Norah Head Cycling Track

If you are looking for an easy off-road bike path for the family, this is the one for you. The Ride Road is a scenic 1.2 km shared path from the entrance to Hugging Lake on the banks of Chittaway Bay towards the entrance bridge in Magenta for 4 km, with park, playground, toilet, picnic and barbecue areas along the way, making it a family friendly activity.

This popular section of the Tuggerah Lake Cycle Path is a great place to cycle as it is located between two playgrounds, the Long Jettys Café and the shopping district. Start at the entrance and cycle along the lakeside bike path past picnic areas, playgrounds and the longest jetty in NSW. Cycle through the safe surroundings of the special festival area for an easy off-road ride that starts at the Central Coast Tourist Information Centre.

Past playgrounds, toilets, picnic tables and barbecues. Enjoy a leisurely family ride on the bike path along the banks of Tuggerah Lake. Take your bike to the North Beach for a ride on the Narrabeen Lagoon Trail, perfect for a weekend.

At the southern end of Tuggerah Lake is the entrance to the magnificent Lake Ride, 25 km from Tuggersah Lake (50 km). Woy Woy is the nearest road to Sydney (35 km) and the return trip from Gosford to Ettalong is a coastal ride, so this is the first.

The treelined path along the banks of Killarney Vale is narrow compared to the wider sections around Tuggerah Lake, but the bike path offers a few bends and small gradients that are suitable for beginners and remain interesting for experienced cyclists and scooters. We like this particular route to learn how to ride, as the trail is only 2 km long, but older riders like to explore further. The toddler path is one and a half kilometres long and is crossed by a concrete road.

The Central Coast has many wonderful cycle paths and scooter routes for families. Cycle on local roads, shared paths and cycle paths to get from A to B. Many NSW regions have cycle networks, but Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong are the main regional centres. Newcastle on the Central Coast is a wonderful drive away from the remote and busy roads.

Whether you're looking for toddler tracks, scenic beach excursions or the ultimate off-road experience, there are many routes that suit the Central Coast. We have cycled through the region to bring you some of our most popular cycling and scooter routes for young children, so you know where to go and where to stop for a toilet, park, game or coffee along the way.

The asphalt road along Showground Road in Narara is perfect for the kids to get used to riding a bicycle and scooter. The bike path is from the Central Coast Youth Club in Niagara Park to Narara Station good for kids to learn to ride. The tree-lined path along the coast of Killarney Vale is a picturesque place to spend an afternoon teaching children how to ride around.

The winding cycle path of the Dharawal National Park 10b is an ideal route for keen cyclists who want a long ride with picturesque picnic spots along the way. This cycle path winds from Tuggerah Station to Tuggersah Lake and offers a host of stunning images and moments to take time out with a selfie lover for his equestrian company.
