Terrigal Haven

January 11, 2023

Fishers use the launch pad at Rock Fishers to fish from the rocks at Broken Head and Skillion, adjacent to where Terrigal Haven is called and one of the most popular destinations on the Central Coast. Whether it's the natural feel of a sandy beach, a rocky platform with panoramic ocean views, or just an observation deck, or a natural amphitheater on Broken Head, Terigal Haven is the perfect location for your outdoor wedding ceremony.

Terrigal Haven is a dynamic and magical place and my favourite place in Terrigal. This is the perfect beach to spend a few hours or more looking for calm waters, salty air, panoramic views and a sense of infinite expansia. Terriga Haven is located a few hundred meters east of the main shopping and restaurant district.

Terrigal Haven is one of the most popular locations on the Central Coast for wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions for wedding parties and photo sessions, and with good reason. Wedding venues such as the Reef Restaurant, Trojans Hall, Haven Cafe (just one minute away), Crowne Plaza Hotel, Terrigal Surf Club, Wamberal Surf Club and North Avoca Surf Club enrich the area. The long hours of daylight, the warm sunshine, the cool beaches and the holidays are all we love in summer, and why not celebrate it with the Mozzies who come out of nowhere, and the area is a beautiful place to enjoy a good summer in the breathtaking coastal scenery.

The beauty of Terrigal Haven as a venue for the wedding ceremony is the number of gorgeous options available to couples who wish to experience a certain feeling on their wedding day. Terrigal Beach is one of the most famous beaches on Central Coast, which offers safe swimming all year round with a small Ocean Rock Pool hidden in the cliffs at the southern end. The beach has 4 main swimming areas: surf beach, dog friendly lagoon, city beach and boat pier.

Cove Cafe (breakfast and lunch) - Modern Australian with picturesque views on the beach. Reef Restaurant (Lunch and Dinner - Seafood, Vegetarian and Vegetarian) - Picturesque views and close to the beach and receives great reviews from customers. The Terrigal Surf Club can be reached from the beach via Crowne Plaza.

Due to the tight development constraints in the area the Haven has a popular boat ramp, a partner diving club, a small number of restaurants and cafes. It is also the centre of a popular public oval home to Terrigal rugby union club. All our medical care and services are available to you from one place and are carried out with the same dedication and the highest possible standards.

Terrigal is a coastal town on the central coast of New South Wales, Australia and lies 12 kilometers east of Gosford in the Pacific Ocean. During the mild to warm years it is a popular bathing destination, but in the winter months it gets cool. The community of Terrigal is located in East Gosford on the central coast of New South Wales.

One drawing of the dive site, called Skillion Cave, and the entrance to Clarrie Lawler’s cave, courtesy of Clarries Lawler Diving into the Cave To drive to Haven, take the Loop Road past the buildings to the parking lot (an oval with a small parking angle) and to the cave. Skillion is a steep, hilly ramp that leads to a vertical cliff overlooking the ocean and offers breathtaking views north, south, east and west of Terrigal.

This is a quiet place to observe the deep water and is very close to the coast boat traffic. From the shore, you can follow the wall while diving to the shelter of the exit ramp of the Haven boat, where you can get the most out of your air.

See information about nearby surf breaks and how their wave consistency is assessed compared to other spots in the region. It is better to go down than to come back up, especially if you climb a rock.
