Established in 2014, Cat Café Melbourne is Australia’s first cat cafe. Our passion and love for cats has driven us to opening a cat cafe in Melbourne for all to share this incredible social experience. We have several adorable resident cats in a calm and relaxing environment where you can let your inner crazy cat person out!
Most of the cats at Cat Cafe Melbourne are from rescue shelters. We believe in giving animals from shelters a second chance and our kitties are the purrfect representatives of the loving cats that can be found at shelters. Cat Cafe Melbourne has worked closely with The Lost Dog’s Home, in North Melbourne, and the Geelong Animal Welfare Society, in Geelong. With their help we selected our cuddly kitties and we hope to increase awareness of the benefits of rescue animals. All the cafe cats are proudly sponsored by Hill’s Science Diet for great quality wet and dry food, as well as special dietary food to ensure the cats always have the purrfect diet.
