Is it possible to recover?
Majority of our goods and resources are imported from offshore manufacturing plants that are foreign owned.Our resources that we mine and produce are mainly exported to those manufacturing countries.
Is it possible to recover as a country that once relied on its own resources and manufacturing?
The answer is YES!
Australia is known for having the best hard resources that are required for manufacturing goods that we require for everyday living.
We once produced on a massive scale: Automotive Vehicles, White Goods, Electrical Components and so on.
As time wen't on, Companies started going offshore to produce those goods at a cheaper price, and as a result, labour and manfacturing costs were reduced.
The downfall to all of this is.... Quality!.
As consumers here in Australia, we rely on CHEAP Manufactured Goods, Goods that only last a maximum of a couple of years.
The more we consume (at a cheaper price), the more we throw away!.
So the big picture to this is that we are constantly spending money on the same items year after year.
The solution to this is simply - pay a bit more for a quality product, knowing that that product will outlast anything that is manufactured offshore.
We need to as a nation bring back QUALITY in all goods, and at the same time be prepared to pay a little extra for something that is of QUALITY. Products that will outlast anything that we consume today!
We as a nation must be prepared to pay a little extra, knowing that what we have is pride, pride in wearing and consuming products that are produced in our own Backyard!.
As inflation is occuring in 2021, now is the time to bring back manufacturing here in Australia.
Australians today have a disposable income like never before. The opportunity to spend that dispossible income should be put back into our economy,
and at the same time help and support those making good quality, homegrown products for the people of Australia.
Let's decide on a future where we are in control of what we consume and produce in Australia!
