If you're looking for a walking path that is suitable for the whole family on the Central Coast, look no further than the Patonga Pearl Beach Walk. For some of the most interesting coastal walks in Central Coast villages and one or two knockout combinations, try them.
Another fantastic footpath on the Central Coast is the Patonga to Pearl Beach Walk in the Brisbane Waters National Park. The trek is three kilometres in each direction and is classified as difficulty 5. Due to the steep climbs and descents, it takes between 1.5 and 2 hours in both directions.
If you want to see the whole pig in Bouddi, visit the Bouddier Coastal Walk, which is 8.5 km long and takes three to four hours each way. The Maitland Bay Track is a side track that leads from Bouddi Coastal Trail to Killcare.
From Patonga to Pearl Beach, this walk through Brisbane Waters National Park takes you to several vantage points with fantastic views of Pearl Beach. The path is easy and you walk along a ridge overlooking Mount Ettalong. This gives way to a wide path that leads down to the beach, where you can take a relaxing dip on the beach or have lunch in the charming café.
This short 2 km walk starts at Terrigal Lagoon and takes you to one of the iconic coastal viewpoints in Skillion. The walk is easy, about 10 kilometers long and takes about two hours.
The Girrakool circuit starts and ends at the Girrakools picnic area and is the ideal way to return for lunch. The walk is perfect if you can get on and off at will, with the queues at Umina and Pearl Beach starting at your whim.
Start with a walk along the access road to the Banksia picnic area and follow a path lined with tall rubber trees, mossy rocks, tires and pine combs until you reach a ravine and rainforest.
As a magnificent walk, this trail is travelled by the splendour of Brisbane Waters National Park for eight kilometres navigating an abundance of different landscapes including rocky cliffs, lush rainforests, waterfalls and native bushland. The Coast Walking Track also known as Wyrrabalong Walk is considered one of the most scenic trails on the central coast and passes through a small wooded area on the central NSW coast. The trail starts at the Putty Beach Picnic Area and includes a mixture of beach walks and steep stairs that form the rails rocky platform.
The Girrakool Loop Track offers picturesque views of the waterfalls and in late winter and early spring you will see an abundance of colorful wildflowers. The walk winds along the foot of Somerset Falls with a number of viewpoints along the way.
Don't miss the Aboriginal rock carvings at the start of the hike, so take your time and breathe in the fresh air as you meander through the bush.
Take a break at the Gerrin Point Lookout, a fenced area where you can sit on a bench and enjoy views of Maitland Bay and Bouddi National Park Marine Extension. If you want a carefree walk that will give you an unforgettable and life-changing experience, take Bouddi coastal walk and camp at Putty Beach Camp and Grind Trail or Little Beach Camp'Grind. There are a number of breathtaking bushwalks, both in easy and difficult terrain, leading towards the Kincumber Mountains.

Bouddi National Park Coastal Walk stretch for five miles of the rugged coastline from Putty Beach to Macmaster Beach and is the perfect view of the picturesque Central Coast. With beaches, boardwalks, rainforests and secluded bays, it is known as one of the best coastal hiking trails in Australia. BouDDI National Park, located on Putty Beach and Macmaster Beach, near Gosford on the Central Coast, about an hour north of Sydney offers panoramic ocean views and idyllic picnic areas.
The walk follows from the Curra Moors car park on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive to the eastern part of the Royal National Park. The Wild Walk website suggests following a short, sweet and easy path to the Girrakool Picnic Area, a large rock platform where ancient engravings of humans and kangaroos can be seen. The hike lasts between four and six hours and leaves plenty of time for enjoying the views, visiting exhibitions, experiencing Aboriginal ceremonies and ethnic cultural performances, and to watch whales if you are lucky.
If a short, easy walk through quiet bushland is more your style, the Girrakool Loop Track is the perfect choice. The beauty of this park is that there are many good walks and they are all within a short drive.
