The Lovely Coast
January 11, 2023What can be more beautiful than the Central Coast NSW? Well nothing really.
The Central Coast is unique in itself as it has so much to offer to those who visit, and those who live here.
The Beaches - Yes the Beaches are the most iconic part of the Central Coast as they vary in so many different ways, from bays to beach brakes, long beaches, coves and more.
Terrigal
Terrigal is one of the famous beaches here on the Central Coast as it offers a great headland area called the Haven. The Haven is well known for its high landscape that overlooks the ocean from north, south and out to the east. The Haven has a well known lookout called the Skillion, The Skillion is a high viewing point that looks up and down the coast, The Skillion is not recommended for the faint hearted as the climb of many steps can be a challenge in itself, but once you reach the top, the view is breathtaking and well worth the effort. The Haven is well known for walkers and dog lovers, many bring their fury friends here as the Haven has a designated dog area to let your four legged friends run free. The walking areas consist of up and down hills, and a circle circuit around the ring road of the Haven itself. You can also use the designated Football Oval too (when it's not in use).
Whilst in the Haven you can visit the two well known Cafe's: The Cove Cafe & The Boatshed Cafe, these two cafe's have a great outlook over Terrigal Bay on looking to the village of Terrigal itself. As we head out of the Haven area you will find yourself heading into village of Terrigal, the first major structure in your sight is the: Crowne Plaza. The Crown Plaza is unmissable as it takes up a large area of the Terrigal forefront. The Crown Plaza is a well known Hotel Complex and has been the icon of Terrigal for many years. The Crowne Plaza is well known for its very fancy bar area within the Hotel: The Lorde Ashley Lounge, it's here that you can get the best cocktails around and not to mention the fine wine. Another well known area on the grounds of the Crowne Plaza is the: Beer Garden, or better known as the Florida Beach Bar. The Florida Beach Bar is a vast open area full of tables and chairs where you sit down and enjoy a cold beverage or a nice meal from their in bar Menu.
As we leave the Crowne Plaza Complex, we come into the Esplanade of Terrigal itself, it's here that you will find an array of shops from: Eateries, Restaurants, Clothing, Cafes, Small Bars and more.
